Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshops help caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a loved one.
The evidence based curriculum offers a 6-week series led by certified leaders. Each class series meets at the same time and same day for 6-consecutive weeks, whether in person or on-line.
This is not a support group, but a supportive network of fellow caregivers, helping you remember you are not alone.
Class participants may receive a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook, developed specifically for the class.
Registration is required. Register on-line by clicking on the class below that best fits your schedule. Registration and additional information available by contacting Karen Kouba-McIver

Thanks to the PTC leaders in Ontario for creating this video to help you understand what a PTC class is all about!
What Caregivers liked best about the PTC program:
“The list of negatives turned into positives!”
“Learning the difference between being assertive and not being aggressive”
“Knowing you’re not alone!”
Thanks to the support of the Southwest Idaho Area Agency on Aging, and the dedication of volunteer leaders, these classes are offered free of charge!
